The new Missouri drivers licenses that are going to be handed out at the end of this year are going through a change.
The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is not going to issue any more licenses, meaning you’ll only be able to get one new Missouri license for each driver.
The department said the changes were needed in order to make sure that all of the licenses would be used equally by the people of Missouri.
We are also taking steps to ensure that all licensees will be issued a valid Missouri driver license.
A driver license is issued when a person has met all the following criteria: 1) A driver’s license is valid for at least 90 days 2) The driver has a current Missouri driver’s licenses vehicle identification number and a valid driver’s or non-driver’s identification card 3) The license is expired or suspended 4) The person is a full-time student, full- or part-time employee, or the holder of a valid non-residency permit or an active military or reservist status.
There are also additional requirements that you’ll need to meet before you can obtain a license: 1.
The person must be a Missouri resident who is 18 years old or older 2.
The license must be valid for one year 3.
The current Missouri license must have a expiration date of at least 30 days, or a license can be renewed if the person is 21 years old, or older 4.
The new license must include the Missouri license number and the name and address of the license holder 5.
The driver must meet all other requirements, including a proof of income of at $10,000 or more.
What does this mean for the upcoming 2018 license renewal?
As of today, if you are a Missouri driver who has been issued a Missouri license, you will still be able renew your license, but only until July 31.
You will also need to have the new Missouri driver licenses vehicle identifier (VIN) card to renew your driver license on July 31, 2019.
As we have mentioned before, a VIN card can only be issued to the holder who is the primary owner of the vehicle.
If you do not have the VIN you will be required to pay the $50 renewal fee and the cost of an additional license.
