The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a new license plate for the state’s drivers.
It will appear on license plates across the state.
The department says it is to ensure the integrity of the licenses issued by the state, and is in response to an “unintended increase in vehicle registration and license plate numbers.”
The new plate is based on the first plate on which drivers can choose.
It features the Texas State flag.
A similar license plate was used to issue a license plate to a man who is currently serving time in a Texas prison.
The Department of Motor Vehicles says the plate has not yet been accepted by the Texas Department for Motor Vehicles.
