A new NJ license renewal policy has been announced.
The policy is being rolled out on Tuesday, March 3, and it will require all license holders to take a test to determine whether they are eligible for renewal.
The renewal fee is $50.
It can be paid online by going to the NJ Driver License office and paying the fee at the register.
The renewal fee will also be available on-line.
The NJ Driver Licensing Board says the new policy is designed to keep drivers and applicants honest.
The new rules will ensure that those who are applying for a license can have their licenses renewed and remain eligible for the same number of licenses.
The Board says it is working to have this policy implemented statewide by March 3.
