A Florida driver license has been issued to a non-native Virginian who applied for the same license last year, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The Palm Beach Post reports that Florida driver licenses issued by the state are valid for up to six months.
The license holder must be able to pass a driving test and a written test before he or she can apply.
A driver’s exam is not required.
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles also issued the license to a woman named Melissa.
She also applied last year.
The driver’s test was not administered, and Melissa did not pass the driving test.
The license holder is a Virginian and is not allowed to operate a motor vehicle in Florida, according a statement from the Florida Department.
Melissa has a driving history, and has been convicted of driving under the influence in the past, according the department.
The woman who applied is listed on the license as Melissa L. Sargent, of West Palm Beach.
A representative from the Department of Motor Vehicles did not immediately return Breitbart News’ request for comment.
